PUBG Lite is a low specification version of the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds battle royale game. The PUBG Lite game has been freely available in open beta since 2023 within serviced regions.

However, there is one catch for U.S. players, which is a pretty big one. With the exception of the U.S. Virgin Islands, the United States is not currently one of the PUBG Lite serviced regions.

And since charging is essential part of using any laptop, problems with charging need to be solved immediately. So, we’re going to show and explain you what should you do, if your laptop is plugged in, but not charging.

Various causes can prevent your laptop from charging, from minor software issues, to serious hardware problems, which require professionals’ intervention. So, we’re going to explore various cases and symptoms here, and provide you with a proper solution. Because, based on your symptoms, you can determine the problem, and find the solution. So, let’s begin.

How to Solve Laptop Charging Problems Check your connections

The first thing we’re going to check are connections between your laptop and a charger. Let’s begin with checking if you’re properly plugged in. It sounds like an obvious and silly solution, but if maybe something slipped out of your sight, and it might require a little more work than you thought in first place. Because, if you have some problem with connection no software or hardware tweaks can help.

First, check your AC adapter brick, and make sure that all removable cables are plugged in properly. Next, check if everything is okay with your battery compartment, check if the battery is properly seated, and if everything’s okay with both battery and laptop contact points.

If everything’s okay with battery connections, you should ‘explore’ your power connectors a little bit more. Check if your power connector has any kinks or breaks, by sliding your fingers along it (unplug it first, of course), also check the ends for broken connections. Now, take a look at your AC adapter. Just like you did with the charger, you can put the battery into another laptop, and see if anything is different.

If your laptop’s temperature is too high, some charging problems may occur. In first case, your system will shut down to prevent overheating a battery and causing fire/explosion. And in other case, high temperature might misfire the battery sensor, which will tell your computer that battery is either fully charged, or missing completely, which will logically cause charging problems. Problems like these more often occur on older laptops, with lower-quality coolers and vents. So, if you notice that your laptop is overheated, don’t try to burn it with charging, but instead, turn it off and let it cool down.

Check out Power options and other settings

By now, we’ve covered all hardware-related problems with charging, and if you check all of the above, and still facing the issue, there’s a big chance that it’s software-related. We’ll start our ‘software investigation’ with checking your power plan. Go to Search, type Power Options and Press Enter. You should also check if everything’s okay with your battery, display, and sleep options, as well. If you’re not sure which options are the best for you, probably the best choice is to restore the power profile to default settings.

This especially applies if you’ve recently upgraded your laptop to Windows 10, because maybe you still didn’t receive all necessary drivers, yet. So, it won’t do any harm if you check if your battery drivers are up to date. To do so, follow these steps:

Go to Search, type devicemanager and open Device Manager

Find “Batteries” section, and expend it. You should see three items, one for the battery, one for the charger, and one listed as “Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery” (maybe you’ll see just charger and Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery, it depends on the laptop)

Do the same thing for the rest of items

Once your drivers are updated, restart your laptop, and try to charge it again. If you’re still unable to charge it, uninstall “Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery,” reboot, and try again

Call tech support

What To Do If You’ve Lost Your Apple Tv Remote

With the video-streaming wars in full effect, it’s imperative that you have a device capable of watching all of your favorite content. Apple TV is one such device, a great option for all your video streaming needs. And like many of Apple’s products, Apple TV is an aesthetically pleasing black box with a small footprint – perfect for those pining after a minimalist decor.

As great as Apple TV is, it’s little more than a paperweight without the remote. Fortunately, even if you’ve lost your remote, you can still binge all your favorite content.

Apple TV Remote in Control Center

If you have an Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD, you can use Control Center on your iOS device as a remote. Apple’s Control Center gives users quick access to a variety of settings and controls, including your Apple TV. Unfortunately, the Apple TV Remote isn’t visible by default in Control Center. Don’t stress, though, it’s easy to get it to appear.

To use the Apple TV Remote function in Control Center with your Apple TV, you must ensure that both your Apple TV and your iOS device are on the same Wi-Fi network. Next, open Control Center, tap on the Apple TV icon and select your Apple TV. If prompted, enter the four digit code that appears on your Apple TV into your iOS device.

Most businesses care about their online reviews, and for good reason. Positive reviews can encourage prospective customers to try your services or products and can answer questions or doubts that they have about your company. But it is inevitable that you will get a bad review at some point. How much damage can it do?

Some business owners seem to believe that any bad review is a personal reflection on the quality of their business and customer service. Others argue passionately that there is no such thing as bad press and that they don’t worry about bad reviews because they don’t hurt their reputation.

Can bad reviews hurt your business? Here are some things for owners to consider.

Does a single bad review hurt?

According to a 2023 study by Brightlocal, somewhere between 98 percent of consumers read online reviews at least “occasionally,” and 76 percent “always” or “regularly” read them when researching local businesses. 

It might seem then that any bad reviews would impact your sales in a negative way. After all, having a bad review shows that your company isn’t perfect, right? But this is not always a deal breaker. Consumers tend to give reviews more weight when the product they are shopping for is expensive or has higher stakes, such as something that impacts personal safety or health.

How do bad reviews actually help?

The truth is that any sensible customer knows that products, services, companies and entrepreneurs aren’t perfect. Instead of showing that customers choose to buy products or patronize businesses that have only stellar reviews, review of the available research shows that customers have more trust in companies that have a few bad reviews. Why is that?

They make the company look trustworthy.

You should reach out to the customer and get as much of their story as possible, showing them that you’re serious about their complaint and want to make it right.

If you can pinpoint the issue to a particular employee, immediately meet with that individual to make it clear that this behavior will not be tolerated. It’s not a bad idea to ask the employee to apologize (in a supervised manner) to the customer who issued the complaint.

If a customer alleges employee theft, you similarly should follow up immediately.

Defamatory language.

What if you feel a review is defamatory? For example, the customer calls all of your employees idiots or insults them on racial or sexual grounds or engages in libel, actively making untrue statements about your business as if they were facts. Most review sites have opportunities for you to either respond to the complaint or flag it to request removal. Be careful with your language here; be polite and stick to the facts.

For example, you might say, “Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review regarding your experience. However, I noted that you said you were at our store Monday morning, and if you look at our schedule, you can see that we are closed until 2 p.m. every day. Is it possible this was for another business?” But avoid insulting the reviewer or demanding that they take the review down; that language won’t get you anywhere.

If you have serious concerns about a review, you might want to consult with a lawyer. Otherwise, except the most inflammatory reviews, just let it go, with the knowledge that the reviewer may have actually just given your business a boost.

While a prospective customer can overlook a few bad reviews, if a significant number of your recent reviews are one or two stars, you need to react and fix the situation. However, if you have a laptop, you might need to use another computer or mobile to download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

2] Reinstall Network adapters driver

If you already have the driver but you face this issue on your Windows PC, you can try reinstalling the driver. Many times, when we install an update, an internal setting or file can go missing. At such times, there is a chance of getting such errors. If you uninstall the driver and reinstall it, it might solve your problem.

After that, restart your computer and install the device driver.

3] Verify Power Saving Mode
