PUBG Lite is a low specification version of the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds battle royale game. The PUBG Lite game has been freely available in open beta since 2023 within serviced regions.

However, there is one catch for U.S. players, which is a pretty big one. With the exception of the U.S. Virgin Islands, the United States is not currently one of the PUBG Lite serviced regions.

When Americans try to play PUBG Lite, the launcher will display an error message that states, It is unavailable in your region. Nevertheless, you can still play PUBG Lite in the USA and other countries outside the serviced regions.

How can I fix the PUBG not available in your region error? 1. Check if you’re in a PUBG Lite service region

First, check if you’re in a PUBG Lite service region. You probably won’t be if the launcher displays an It is unavailable in your region error.

To check, open the release date page for PUBG Lite, which includes a list of serviced regions for the beta game.

2. Check your clock and region system settings

If you are in one of the serviced regions, and still can’t play PUBG Lite, then your laptop’s or desktop’s clock and region settings might not be right.

First, press the Windows key + R hotkey to launch Run.

Select your own region (country you’re in) on the Format menu if the right one isn’t selected there.

Select the time zone you’re in.

Select the Show this clock option and your time zone for clock 2 also.

Then select the time zone you’re in on the window directly below.

3. Connect to Thailand server with VPN software

Those who aren’t in a PUBG Lite serviced region can still play the game by connecting with a VPN.

First, press the Windows key + S hotkey.

Turn off the Set time automatically option

Toggle the Set time zone automatically option off.

Select (UTC +07:00) Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta on the Time zone drop-down menu, which is Thailand’s time zone.

Now you’ll need to install VPN software.

When connected with VPN server, open the PUBG Launcher to play the game.

So, that’s how you can fix the PUBG not available in your region error to play the game in both non-serviced and serviced PUBG Lite regions.

Then you can sample all the thrills and spills PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has to offer.

One of the most annoying, and biggest problems for laptop owners is the problem with charging. And since charging is essential part of using any laptop, problems with charging need to be solved immediately. So, we’re going to show and explain you what should you do, if your laptop is plugged in, but not charging.

Various causes can prevent your laptop from charging, from minor software issues, to serious hardware problems, which require professionals’ intervention. So, we’re going to explore various cases and symptoms here, and provide you with a proper solution. Because, based on your symptoms, you can determine the problem, and find the solution. So, let’s begin.

How to Solve Laptop Charging Problems Check your connections

The first thing we’re going to check are connections between your laptop and a charger. Let’s begin with checking if you’re properly plugged in. It sounds like an obvious and silly solution, but if maybe something slipped out of your sight, and it might require a little more work than you thought in first place. Because, if you have some problem with connection no software or hardware tweaks can help.

First, check your AC adapter brick, and make sure that all removable cables are plugged in properly. Next, check if everything is okay with your battery compartment, check if the battery is properly seated, and if everything’s okay with both battery and laptop contact points.

If everything’s okay with battery connections, you should ‘explore’ your power connectors a little bit more. Check if your power connector has any kinks or breaks, by sliding your fingers along it (unplug it first, of course), also check the ends for broken connections. Now, take a look at your AC adapter. Do you notice anything unusual about it? Try plugging it into another laptop, and see if it charges normally, if it doesn’t the problem is probably in your charger.

Check your battery

If you deeply ‘scanned’ all your power connections, and everything seems to be okay, maybe the problem lays in the battery. First thing you should try is to remove the battery entirely and then plug in your laptop. If the laptop powers correctly, the problem was probably the damaged battery. Just like you did with the charger, you can put the battery into another laptop, and see if anything is different.

Expert tip:

Make sure your laptop’s not overheated

If your laptop’s temperature is too high, some charging problems may occur. In first case, your system will shut down to prevent overheating a battery and causing fire/explosion. And in other case, high temperature might misfire the battery sensor, which will tell your computer that battery is either fully charged, or missing completely, which will logically cause charging problems. Problems like these more often occur on older laptops, with lower-quality coolers and vents. So, if you notice that your laptop is overheated, don’t try to burn it with charging, but instead, turn it off and let it cool down.

Check out Power options and other settings

By now, we’ve covered all hardware-related problems with charging, and if you check all of the above, and still facing the issue, there’s a big chance that it’s software-related. We’ll start our ‘software investigation’ with checking your power plan. Go to Search, type Power Options and Press Enter. Check all sections of the window, and make sure everything is correct if you notice that your power plan is different than it should be, check out our article about preventing automatic power plan change. You should also check if everything’s okay with your battery, display, and sleep options, as well. If you’re not sure which options are the best for you, probably the best choice is to restore the power profile to default settings.

This especially applies if you’ve recently upgraded your laptop to Windows 10, because maybe you still didn’t receive all necessary drivers, yet. So, it won’t do any harm if you check if your battery drivers are up to date. To do so, follow these steps:

Go to Search, type devicemanager and open Device Manager

Find “Batteries” section, and expend it. You should see three items, one for the battery, one for the charger, and one listed as “Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery” (maybe you’ll see just charger and Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery, it depends on the laptop)

Do the same thing for the rest of items

Once your drivers are updated, restart your laptop, and try to charge it again. If you’re still unable to charge it, uninstall “Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery,” reboot, and try again

Call tech support

If you went through our guide completely, and you still didn’t find the cause of your charging problem, it’s the right time to contact tech support. Some laptops, made by some particular manufacturers, have their own unique problems, so contacting your laptop manufacturer’s tech support will probably be helpful, as he/she surely experienced something like this before, while we can only give you universal solutions.

What To Do If You’ve Lost Your Apple Tv Remote

With the video-streaming wars in full effect, it’s imperative that you have a device capable of watching all of your favorite content. Apple TV is one such device, a great option for all your video streaming needs. And like many of Apple’s products, Apple TV is an aesthetically pleasing black box with a small footprint – perfect for those pining after a minimalist decor.

As great as Apple TV is, it’s little more than a paperweight without the remote. Fortunately, even if you’ve lost your remote, you can still binge all your favorite content.

Apple TV Remote in Control Center

If you have an Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD, you can use Control Center on your iOS device as a remote. Apple’s Control Center gives users quick access to a variety of settings and controls, including your Apple TV. Unfortunately, the Apple TV Remote isn’t visible by default in Control Center. Don’t stress, though, it’s easy to get it to appear.

To use the Apple TV Remote function in Control Center with your Apple TV, you must ensure that both your Apple TV and your iOS device are on the same Wi-Fi network. Next, open Control Center, tap on the Apple TV icon and select your Apple TV. If prompted, enter the four digit code that appears on your Apple TV into your iOS device.

Remote App for Apple TV

Unfortunately, if you have a third generation Apple TV, you won’t be able to use Control Center on your iOS device. Don’t fret, as you’re not up the proverbial creek just yet. Luckily, the Apple TV Remote app for your iOS device gives you all the functionality of the physical Apple TV remote. To get started, download the Apple TV Remote app from the App Store.

Before firing up the Apple TV Remote app, double-check your device and make sure it is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV. Once you’ve done that, go ahead and open the app. Tap on “Add Apple TV” to have the app scan for your Apple TV. Once it pops up on the screen of your iOS device, tap on your Apple TV. If prompted, enter the four-digit code that appears on your Apple TV into your iOS device. This will pair the remote app to your Apple TV.

Reprogram an Old Remote

Do you have an old remote sitting in a drawer somewhere? Chances are you do. You always knew there was a reason you kept it, and this is it! Infrared remotes can be used with your Apple TV, you just need to reprogram them. Fortunately, this can be done in a few minutes. Be aware that while most remotes should theoretically work with your Apple TV, there are no guarantees. That being said, reprogramming an old remote is straightforward.

Next, you’ll be prompted to press and hold various buttons on your remote. Make sure you hold each button down until the progress bar is full and you are prompted to press a different button. Once you do this for each button, you should be able to use your infrared remote with your Apple TV!

Use a Bluetooth Keyboard

You can pair an Apple Wireless Keyboard to your Apple TV and use it to navigate the interface and enter text. If you don’t have an Apple Wireless Keyboard, don’t worry. Fortunately, you can use a variety of third-party Bluetooth keyboards as well. To get started, put your Bluetooth keyboard into pairing mode.

Use the arrow keys to navigate menus or the Home screen.

Hit the Return key to make selections.

Tap the Spacebar to play or pause content.

Press Escape to go back or exit an app.

We will explore what chúng tôi is and delve into its significance in managing user logins and authentication within the Windows environment.

What is Winlogon.exe?

Winlogon.exe is a system process that is an essential component responsible for managing user logins, authentications, and system integrity during the login process.

This process is initiated when you start your computer and reach the login screen. The primary role is to authenticate user credentials by verifying usernames and passwords, ensuring only authorized users can access the system.

If the authentication is successful, it proceeds to load the user profile & initialize the Windows desktop environment, making it ready to use.

You can locate this file in the C:WindowsSystem32 folder of your Windows computer. If you find it anywhere else, it may be malicious; therefore, to remove it, run an antivirus scan.

What does chúng tôi do?

During the login process, the process verifies user credentials, including usernames and passwords. The main purpose is to ensure that only authorized users can access your machine.

2. Profile loading

It includes loading personal settings, preferences, desktop configurations, and other user-specific data.

3. Desktop initialization

Once the user profile is loaded, the process initializes the Windows OS desktop environment. This includes preparing the graphical interface, icons, taskbar, and other elements for user interaction.

4. System event handling

Winlogon.exe manages various system events related to user logins and handles the processes like locking and unlocking the workstation, changing passwords, and managing the secure attention sequence (SAS), which triggers when you press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

SAS helps ensure a secure login process by preventing malicious software from intercepting user credentials.

5. System shutdown and logoff

What Should You Do If You Get A Bad Review?

Most businesses care about their online reviews, and for good reason. Positive reviews can encourage prospective customers to try your services or products and can answer questions or doubts that they have about your company. But it is inevitable that you will get a bad review at some point. How much damage can it do?

Some business owners seem to believe that any bad review is a personal reflection on the quality of their business and customer service. Others argue passionately that there is no such thing as bad press and that they don’t worry about bad reviews because they don’t hurt their reputation.

Can bad reviews hurt your business? Here are some things for owners to consider.

Does a single bad review hurt?

According to a 2023 study by Brightlocal, somewhere between 98 percent of consumers read online reviews at least “occasionally,” and 76 percent “always” or “regularly” read them when researching local businesses.

It might seem then that any bad reviews would impact your sales in a negative way. After all, having a bad review shows that your company isn’t perfect, right? But this is not always a deal breaker. Consumers tend to give reviews more weight when the product they are shopping for is expensive or has higher stakes, such as something that impacts personal safety or health.

How do bad reviews actually help?

The truth is that any sensible customer knows that products, services, companies and entrepreneurs aren’t perfect. Instead of showing that customers choose to buy products or patronize businesses that have only stellar reviews, review of the available research shows that customers have more trust in companies that have a few bad reviews. Why is that?

They make the company look trustworthy.

Psychologically, since customers assume that nothing is perfect, a total lack of negative reviews means that companies are either burying the negative (not a good sign) or the reviews are not legit, which actually is worse than a few complaints. In fact, prospective customers are more likely to buy from you when the average rating is between 4.2 stars and 4.5 stars, according to research from Northwestern University. Once it gets higher than that, customer skepticism kicks in and purchase intention drops.

Consumers crave transparency and suspect that a review may be fake when it is just a star rating with no words (47 percent), when it is over the top in its praise (40 percent) and when it is over the top in its negativity (32 percent), according to Brightlocal.

They provoke empathy.

Most people assume that there will be some people who will never be satisfied, no matter how hard a company tries. Everyone has seen this sort of situation at some point, and it can make a customer or potential customer empathize with the business owner and want to give them the benefit of the doubt.

They give the company the opportunity to show concern about customer satisfaction.

If the business responds to the negative reviews to try to resolve the situation, this shows potential customers that the company cares about its clients and is putting effort into making them satisfied. It also demonstrates that the company cares about its reputation and is responsive.

Did You Know?

The top review factor that influences consumers to use a business is when the owner responds to all reviews, with 88 percent saying they would be more likely to use that business, reported Brightlocal.

Ask customers for reviews in person, during checkout or in an email. These are the methods most likely to result in a customer leaving a review.

When should you be concerned?

There are of course a few situations where you should be concerned about bad reviews.

Serious accusations.

If a customer alleges sexual or racial harassment of any kind, your goal as a business owner must be to immediately address what happened with your associates. You should reach out to the customer and get as much of their story as possible, showing them that you’re serious about their complaint and want to make it right.

If you can pinpoint the issue to a particular employee, immediately meet with that individual to make it clear that this behavior will not be tolerated. It’s not a bad idea to ask the employee to apologize (in a supervised manner) to the customer who issued the complaint.

If a customer alleges employee theft, you similarly should follow up immediately.

Defamatory language.

What if you feel a review is defamatory? For example, the customer calls all of your employees idiots or insults them on racial or sexual grounds or engages in libel, actively making untrue statements about your business as if they were facts. Most review sites have opportunities for you to either respond to the complaint or flag it to request removal. Be careful with your language here; be polite and stick to the facts.

For example, you might say, “Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review regarding your experience. However, I noted that you said you were at our store Monday morning, and if you look at our schedule, you can see that we are closed until 2 p.m. every day. Is it possible this was for another business?” But avoid insulting the reviewer or demanding that they take the review down; that language won’t get you anywhere.

If you have serious concerns about a review, you might want to consult with a lawyer. Otherwise, except the most inflammatory reviews, just let it go, with the knowledge that the reviewer may have actually just given your business a boost.

Lots of your recent reviews are negative.

While a prospective customer can overlook a few bad reviews, if a significant number of your recent reviews are one or two stars, you need to react and fix the situation. First, take corrective action in regard to the issue that people are complaining about. After that, you can work on the perception by letting customers know about your solution, soliciting new positive reviews and, in the worst cases, engaging the best online reputation management company.

The Default Gateway Is Not Available On Windows 11/10

If when you run the Internet Connections Troubleshooter it displays a message – The default gateway is not available on Windows 11/10, then here are some troubleshooting tips you should follow to fix this problem. This error can be seen if your computer is momentarily turning off your network adapter, as a result of which communication to the internet or network is lost. If you see this message, one thing you should try first is to restart the computer and run this Troubleshooter again. If it helps fix the problem, well and good – but if it does not, then read on.

The default gateway is not available on Windows 11/10

Do the following things to resolve your issue:

Install Network driver

Reinstall Network adapters driver

Verify Power Saving Mode

Reset TCP/IP

Disable Firewall software

1] Install Network driver

This is the most common solution to this problem. Most people get this error message after a fresh installation of Windows. If you have installed Windows 11/10 without any leftover, you have to install the network driver so that your network adapters can start working. If you haven’t done it yet, this is the time when you need to install it. Generally, you can find the network driver on the Motherboard CD. However, if you have a laptop, you might need to use another computer or mobile to download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

2] Reinstall Network adapters driver

If you already have the driver but you face this issue on your Windows PC, you can try reinstalling the driver. Many times, when we install an update, an internal setting or file can go missing. At such times, there is a chance of getting such errors. If you uninstall the driver and reinstall it, it might solve your problem.

After that, restart your computer and install the device driver.

3] Verify Power Saving Mode

If you are using a Windows laptop, the Power Options panel plays a vital role. Generally, laptop users use Wi-Fi and if you are doing the same, but getting the error message, then you need to check some settings related to Power Saving Mode.

If not, do select it and save the change.

4] Reset TCP/IP

TCP/IP or Internet Protocol is the most important thing if you want to use the internet on your computer. If it is corrupted due to any reason, you have to reset TCP/IP. There is no need to use any third-party software since a simple command does the job pretty well.

If this does not help, use the Network Reset option to reset Windows network settings to default.

5] Disable the Firewall software

There are many people, who install third-party firewall software to manage incoming and outgoing connections. If you have done that, you should try disabling it temporarily. If that solves your problem, you need to either tweak some settings or uninstall it completely.

Also, if you have changed some settings in Windows Firewall, you can reset it to factory default and check if the problem remains or not.

How do I get my default gateway back?

The quickest way to get your default gateway back is by releasing your current IP. To do this, execute the following command ipconfig /release in CMD and hit Enter. This will release any assigned IP addresses and gateways. Now type ipconfig /renew and hit Enter to get a new default gateway.

Hope these suggestions help you solve your problem.
