Suggested March 2024 Touchretouch Ios App: Remove Unwanted Objects From Your Photos

Crowds, wires, trash cans, animals, mesh, and other random stuff spoiling your perfect picture? Super frustrating, isn’t it? However, there is a pretty simple, quick, and effective solution to the problem, the TouchRetouch app for iPhone and iPad.

How exactly does it help? Join me as I review TouchRetouch and explore all its functionality in-depth.

An overview of the TouchRetouch app

TouchRetouch is a photo editing app specializing in removing unwanted objects from any photo. All you have to do is slide your finger over the object, and tada, it will vanish.

Remove unwanted objects from photos on your iPhone and iPad

Moreover, you can use the app on the go and get almost at par results. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg; there’s more:

Object-Aware retouching  – The smart AI recognizes objects and can easily eliminate stuff like people, street signs, trash cans, etc., like magic. And thanks to an edge-aware algorithm, it doesn’t leave smears at the edges, even if the objects are kept too close.

Bye-bye unnecessary lines

 – Electricity lines, telephone wires, cables, etc., killing your shot? No worries, TouchRetouch can get rid of them in a jiffy. The app offers a precise selection for easy removal, whether the lines are thin, thick, straight, or curved.

How to use the TouchRetouch app to remove unwanted content from photos

Launch the app and select the image.

You’ll see multiple tools in the bottom row

Clone Stamp

Select any one as per your need; I have chosen Objects for the above example. Depending upon the selection, you’ll find:

Brush and lasso selection tool

An eraser or restore tool

Settings tool to manage brush size, opacity, etc.

You can play with them to your heart’s content and refine the selection and removal process. Amazingly, you also get automatic and manual mode. The former allows quick editing, while the latter gives you full control for more accurate results.

Quick tip:

Use two fingers to zoom the image in and out to achieve accuracy.

Undo or redo by tapping the curved arrows on top.

The dotted and non-dotted rectangle icon lets you see the edits and the original image.

You can manage it all between the auto/manual tool, the varied selection tool, and Clone Stamp. And the best part is that you’ll find detailed step-by-step tutorials for almost all tasks within the app and on the app’s website.

What more can you do with the TouchRetouch iOS app?

While the before and after image and task list shared above are impressive, the app offers more. Let me quickly show you what more is TouchRetouch capable of.

360° friendly – Why should Panaromas be left behind? After all, can’t hide much in a 360° photo. But you can surely get rid of stuff, all thanks to TouchRetouch. You can navigate completely around 360° photos and remove objects obstructing the shot.

Is TouchRetouch Worth the Tiny Investment?

User interface

Value for money

Whether you are a budding photographer, business owner, content creator, or student, TouchRetouch is a great app for anyone who needs to quickly deal with photos. It is user-friendly and requires no expert knowledge like Photoshop.

Also, note that not all is automatic; complicated packed photos may need extra TLC. But thankfully, the app has enough tools to help you manage such situations and present surprisingly accurate final results.

And while it doesn’t promise those features, I would have loved the app to have some basic editing tools like crop, resize, saturation, hues, etc. As then, I won’t have to move to another app to get that; TouchRetouch would be my all-in-one stop.

Easily removes unwanted objects

Boasts auto and manual modes

Worth the cost

Basic photo editing features would have been cool

No trial period

Lambdatest Ios Emulator Review: Test Your App Across Platforms

Dear developers, is there anything more exhilarating than seeing your app in action? Testing that everything is looking and working as you want it to is fun and crucial before any release, and this is where emulators and simulators come into play. And as I test and review the LambdaTest iOS emulator, I invite you to join me and see if this is the app you are looking for.

LambdaTest is a cloud-based testing tool that helps developers test, screen, and debug their work manually and automatically. You could emulate and evaluate your app and website across 2000+ browsers and operating systems, thanks to an exhaustive infrastructure.

So, web developers can see how their website will look in Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc. And if you are an app developer, emulate your app in any iOS and Android device across the various OS.

And this is all cloud-based, so you can quickly bring your team on board and collaborate in real-time, even if you are sitting miles apart. Moreover, you and your team can access LambdaTest, all past tests, and their results anytime, anywhere.

Now, lets’ dig a little deeper and see what features LambdaTest has to offer.

We are all well-versed with deadlines, and no one wants a complex testing setup to hinder their rhythm. So, LambdaTest makes it super simple with:

Test away – Explore the app to your heart’s content and make use of some handy and helpful features to discover bugs or issues.

Amazingly, you can even install another app and run multiple apps in the same test session. Neat, right? Imagine comparing the app with a previous version or building apps that are well integrated.

Test on a wide range of devices

While it looks great on iPhone 13 Pro Max, does it look equally good in iPhone SE (2nd gen)? And what about those who haven’t upgraded to iOS 15 yet? The idea is to make your app look flawless on every device and a wide range of OS.

Apart from that, you are privy to basic device controls such as device orientation, volume adjustment, or power on/off.

Capture bugs in action

I am no developer, but our whole team regularly tests the iGeeksBlog app. And instead of struggling with jargon or sending the wrong communication to the developer, the team relies on screenshots and screen recording.

All screenshots and recorded videos are stored in the Gallery section; you can download and share them from here.

Real-time debugging

A cool thing is that all sessions are being logged, and you can track detailed test logs and insights. Whether looking into a past issue to find a solution or which team member made the changes, all can be done.

Geolocation testing across 50+ locations

The Settings section (gear icon) houses some fantastic gems, from setting an idle timeout, adjusting network throttling to changing location.

You can simulate the GPS or IP geolocation and observe the behavior of your app accordingly. The idea is to ensure that the app works seamlessly in your target market.

Moreover, you can also switch the device language, time zones based on a specific location and even change keyboards within a session. Now, that’s an impressive array of features to have handy while testing, isn’t it?

Third-party integrations

LambdaTest boasts an impressive array of integrations, including apps for project management, team communication, CI/CD, reporting, automation plugins, and more.

The idea is to make your workflow as seamless as possible. And with apps like Slack, GitLab, Circle CI, Asana, Trello, Bitbucket, Test Rail, etc., under its belt, you can manage all of that.

User Interface

Live testing

Value for money

LambdaTest iOS emulator is a great companion for a developer, and it’s user-friendly and packs thoughtful and thorough features. Plus, the vast number of supported devices, OS, and browsers makes it lucrative.

On top of it all, it doesn’t quote super-exuberant prices. In fact, it even has a free lifetime program that’ll help you understand the app better before you take the plunge.

Quite like a great Lambada dance partner, it is supportive, encouraging, and trustworthy. Maybe that’s why it has a fanbase of over 500,000 users.

Extensive range of devices & OS support

Screenshots and video recording

Automatic debug mode

Clear and helpful session logs

Liquid Avatar Ios App Review: Create Avatars And Protect Your Data

We live in an era where identity thefts have become standard practice. It’s important than ever to secure your online presence. While you can always rely on a digital locker or privacy options, Liquid Avatar blends them all and offers a unique, more wholesome solution!

The app provides space to create your digital identity that can be virtually shared without risking your privacy. Read along to find more about the app.

What is Liquid Avatar, and how it works on iPhone?

Liquid Avatar is your encrypted online profile, secured by biometric (facial recognition) and Blockchain-based technology. This allows you to share what you need to at minimal risk.

Once you open the app, it asks you to create a personalized digital avatar (select your look from hair to face, skin color, and more) and authenticates the profile with your face ID, stored in the app’s server. Now, every time you want to log in, your face authentication is necessary.

You can link your social profiles like Twitter to avatar. Moreover, there is no limitation on the number of avatars. You can create one for professional life, another for social media, etc. Thus, giving you complete freedom to create one for different personalities and share limited data simply by selecting the relevant avatar.

But how does it help you? Let’s take a look at the key features of the app.

How fluid is Liquid Avatar? Key highlights Security data layer

The app boasts multi-layered visual technology to offer extra security and prevent data theft from the app or company servers. It comprises a visual presentation layer, public data layer, private data layer, security data layer. Thus, helping it encrypt your presence.

Gate your digital information

Create your avatar using its dozens of styles and personalization options. Next, you can share your data using the code scanner or view other’s data similarly. You can also group your contacts into family, friends, faculty, social media, etc., by creating different icons.

Digital Wallet program and KABN Visa card add-on

Although this one is in the pilot program right now, and you’ll have to wait after registering, I have high expectations from this feature. If it meets the industry standards, it will make the app more accessible by shopping right from the app. I look forward to testing it soon.

Verified community

The platform creates a close-knit community of verified users. As its part, you can communicate with others through quizzes, play games, etc.

What I loved about Liquid Avatar What I wish would be better

Liquid Avatar isn’t perfect. Considering the app is still new, it needs plenty of improvements and fixes.

The UI looks a little outdated with a tile-based interface.

I couldn’t connect my social profiles to my avatar.

It was pretty confusing to figure the app when I tested it. The first-time users could use a guide or assistance to better the onboarding experience.

There’s no way to delete the account in the app as of now. You will to place your request via email.

Our verdict: Should you rely on Liquid Avatar for online security?

Liquid Avatar sure looks promising, and I am hooked on the concept. However, it’s not without hiccups. The developers need to push more efforts into app polishing and the UI. I would recommend you try the app as it’s free and refreshing, but since it’s in its initial phase, you’ll have to be patient.

How To Manage Your Files In Ios With The Files App

One of the most underrated apps on iOS (and iPadOS) is none other than the Files app. At first, it might look like a very simple file manager which doesn’t let you dive deep into system files on your iPhone or iPad. However, we guarantee that you’ll be surprised by what this app can do, especially when it comes to mobile productivity.

Using the Files app, you can access both local and cloud files, import files from external drives, organize your files, view all kinds of file types, perform an in-depth inspection, and more. With that said, it’s time to talk about how to manage your files in iOS using the Files app.

1. Add New File Locations & Connect New Cloud Services

More precisely, you’ll see a toggle button next to each third-party cloud storage app that you have on your device, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. Once you are happy with your selection of services, tap on the option that says “Done.”

2. Move, Copy, Delete a File & More

By long-pressing on a file, you can do various things. You can either rename, duplicate, copy, delete, move, share, tag, or get more info on a file. Also, you will see a drop-down menu that’s specific to individual file types. Therefore, if you long-press on an image, you can rotate it left or right, create a PDF, and similar.

If you choose “Tags,” you’ll be able to select a tag to label a file. You will then see a list of tags in the sidebar of the Files app, allowing you to easily organize files and get to specific tags in no time.

If you long-press on a folder, you’ll get a list of different options. Among those is an option labeled “Favorite.” You can choose that option, and the entire folder will then appear under “Favorites” in the sidebar. And just like with files, you can also copy, duplicate, move, and delete folders.

3. Manage, Duplicate, Share & Delete Files Without Drag and Drop

At any moment, you can manage files in the Files app using drag and drop. For example, if you want to move a file, you can drag it to a different folder. However, another way to manage files is similar to how you would do it on a computer.

First, open a folder containing any number of files, then tap on “Select” in the top-right corner. Next, select files and take a look at the bottom of your screen. You will see a menu bar that lets you share, duplicate, move, and delete files – in a batch. And if you tap on “More,” you can even compress files into a single ZIP archive.

4. Find a Specific File/Folder by Searching

At any moment, you can search for a specific file or folder. Just tap on the “Search” field at the top of your screen, then go with a phrase for the file you want. For example, you can search for “Images,” and the Files app can further assist by allowing you to look up JPEG or PNG images.

You can also narrow your search by choosing “Recents” or “iCloud Drive” (just below the search field at the top of your screen). Using those tabs, the Files app can navigate to specific files or folders more quickly.

5. Create a New Folder & Add Existing Documents/Files

Creating a new folder in the Files app, then adding files, is quite easy. Long-press on a blank space in the Files app where you want the folder to appear, and tap on “New Folder.” Alternatively, you can press the “New Folder” button in the top-right corner of your iPad’s screen. If you use an iPhone, tap on “More” and then select “New Folder.”

To add files to your new folder, you can first select any number of files, then tap on “Move” at the bottom of your screen. A pop-up will appear so that you can navigate to your newly created folder. Easy, right?

6. Recover Deleted Files via the Files App

As soon as you open the Files app, you will see a list of locations within the app’s sidebar. This is also where you’ll find an item named “Recently Deleted.” As you can already guess, this is the location of the files you’ve deleted, waiting to be either recovered or permanently erased.

If you would like to recover a deleted file, long-press on it and select “Recover.” And if you want to free up some space on your device, tap on “Delete Now.” At any moment, you can also choose “Info” to get additional information about a folder or file.

In the end, we’d like to recommend a couple of useful resources as well. You’ll want to know how to check what’s taking up your iCloud storage space, useful for diving into your files. And speaking of organizing things, here’s how to organize your iPhone apps.

How To Remove Device From Wi

One way to troubleshoot an unstable internet is by analyzing your network traffic. You can check what devices are connected to the router, and see if there is any an unauthorized user. Maybe they are someone you gave Wi-Fi access in the past but would like to kick them off now.

Changing the Wi-Fi passcode or resetting the router is all that’s needed to remove devices from the Wi-Fi and make them re-authenticate.  However, if these methods don’t appeal to you, we’ve also listed various other ways to accomplish the same goal in this article.

After removing the unwanted device, we also recommend taking additional steps to secure the Wi-Fi, such as disabling vulnerabilities like WPS or setting up guest networks. However, for this article, let’s focus on different ways to restrict network access.

All network interface controllers (NICs) are assigned a unique hardware ID or physical ID known as the MAC Address. This means everything from your router, PC, and phone has a unique MAC Address. MAC Filtering refers to the process of using these unique identifiers to blacklist or whitelist certain devices from a network.

It can be bypassed through methods like MAC Spoofing, so it’s not completely secure, but it’s still a good enough security measure in most general cases. Things like IP-MAC Binding help in this regard as well.

Finally, when using MAC Filtering, the first method is to set it up so that certain devices are blacklisted and can’t access the network. Or alternatively, you can allow only specified devices to access the network through whitelisting. With all that in mind, here’s how you can set up MAC Filtering on your router:

MAC Filtering typically prevents a wireless device from connecting to the network. In some routers, Access Control does the same for wired and wireless devices. However, on others, Access Control allows the device to connect to the network but specifically restricts internet access.

This may not explicitly remove a device from the Wi-Fi, but it more or less serves the same purpose in most cases. The process of using it is very similar to that of MAC Filtering. Here are the necessary steps::

Parental Controls isn’t supported on all routers, but on those that do, it offers a number of useful functionalities. This includes checking a device’s internet history, blocking specific content, restricting internet access, setting time limits, etc. Here’s how you can use this feature:

Quality of Service (QoS) allows you to prioritize which services or devices receive how much bandwidth. This method doesn’t actually remove the device from the Wi-Fi either, but you can use it to limit the bandwidth and restrict internet access, which is ultimately what most users want. With that said, here are the steps to set up QoS:

Older mobiles and computers, as well as most smart home devices and electronic appliances, can only connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. While this is a bit niche, disabling the 2.4 GHz band can remove unwanted devices from the Wi-Fi in such cases. Here’s how you can do this:

Certain router vendors and ISPs have mobile apps that allow you to manage internet access. If this is applicable in your case, removing certain devices from the Wi-Fi should be pretty simple:

While we’re on this topic, we should also mention that third-party Wi-Fi Jamming tools capable of restricting internet access on certain devices do exist. They identify the device through their MAC Address and repeatedly send dissociate packets to do this. However, we recommend exercising caution if you plan to use such tools, as they’re generally not reliable.

When you change your Wi-Fi password, all devices are required to reauthenticate using the new password. Because of this, any unauthorized devices should no longer be able to connect to your Wi-Fi unless you give out the new password. Here’s how you can change your Wi-Fi password:

Resetting a router wipes all the customized settings and restores the router to factory defaults. This includes your Wi-Fi settings as well. After resetting the router, it’s essential to reconfigure the router and Wi-Fi so that they’re secure. Here’s how you can do this:

Why pick PicWish background remover?

For starters, it is pretty simple to use, as illustrated above. You don’t need to manually outline/crop an object or learn any special skills. Then there are a few more perks.

While the free web version boasts limited features, the iOS app makes up for it. You can:

Batch remove background from images

You can select up to 30 images and bulk remove their background. It took less than 5 seconds to bulk erase the background during my testing. So that’s a big plus👍. However, you can’t refine the removal like in the web version.

Image resizer

A great feature for marketers, you can resize the image as per the default size used by Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, or more without compromising quality. Although, you can’t crop it as per social media websites or a custom ratio.

Is PicWish a wish come true or not?

User interface

Value for money

It’s almost there; I am cool with the concept that additional features are locked under premium. But the discrepancy between the app and web features doesn’t bode that well for me. You can’t edit the selection in the app; I mean, that’s what I loved the most in the web version.

Then you can’t resize while using the website; why oh why? The app doesn’t even boast a cloud or some sharing system that’ll allow me to move from iPhone to Mac or vice-a-versa.

Overall, PicWish needs some tweaks to become the perfect tool. However, it’s a great tool for startup businesses, solopreneurs, crafters, content creators, and more; it’s quick, smooth, accurate, and easy to use.
