We’re not sure if From Software or Bandai Namco anticipated this, but Elden Ring players have already succeeded in removing the game’s 60 FPS cap.
Ever since the title was officially launched, the PC version of Elden Ring has been fairly unstable for the great majority of users.
White screen errors, a lot of screen tearing and horizontal lines, Steam restart loops, and not being able to run it on DirectX 11 are just some of the problems so far.
But one of the major things about Elden Ring that really upset users is the silly 60 FPS cap that From Software decided to go with.
Yes, the game doesn’t run that well even on the latest systems and GPUs. However, that won’t stop people from wanting to play Elden Ring without any FPS cap.
You will surely be pleased to know that you can do that now, but not because developers wanted it, because players insisted. You can only unlock the FPS cap using a mod for Elden Ring
If you were thinking about a mode for Elden Ring, that can unlock the 60 FPS cap, you are our winner. That’s exactly what the case is, but think twice before you install the mod.
How can you also do it? We’re glad you asked, as we were just about to show you what the entire process looks like.
Download the mod from Github.
Run Elden Ring in offline mode.
The creator of this mod also states that no game files are modified in this mod and that it works with any Steam version of the game.
This new Elden Ring mode also comes with some other features, which include removing the 60 Hz limit, allowing you to make use of your high refresh rate monitor, and an option to increase and decrease the Field of View.
That being said, there’s also added support for widescreen monitors and an option to keep your Runes upon death.
Once you finish installing this mod, you will have a menu that you can open to change your FOV, refresh rate, FPS limit, and more.

Kudos to for spending time on creating a great utility tool like this, one that required him to peruse through firmwares of many Samsung Galaxy devices to ensure maximum compatibility. The resulting .zip file, a firmware/ROM debloater script, is your best bet if you are looking to remove all those extra apps and goodies Samsung has thrown in as pre-installed and that you never wanted, to make your Galaxy device faster. Way faster, actually, if you are on pre-Galaxy S6 device, but S6 users can debloat their phone for better performance too.
None apps should be such that would cause your device to malfunction, but it’s highly, highly recommended you take a backup of your phone using custom recovery with which you are looking to flash the debloater tool in zip format, so that you can restore your device back to pre-flash status easily. Further, you can install the missing apps easily from Google Play Store anytime. The script by default removes Gmail, and if you forgot to disable Gmail’s removal by the tool as given below, then you can install it back from Play Store.
The debloater script is a custom recovery flashable zip file, so you do need a recovery like TWRP or CWM for this. Search this very blog for CWM/TWRP recovery for your device, and install it using the guide we’ve written for you. Then it’s easy. Just download the script and flash it from the recovery mode using the custom recovery you have got.
But let’s first talk about the debloater script a bit more. It’s claimed that you could be reducing the size of your ROM by up to 400 MB using this. The tool will remove all Samsung apps that are not essential for phone’s working, and will also do away with pre-installed Google Apps not really essential and easily installable from Play Store.
Of course, Samsung apps like Phone, Contacts, Messaging, etc. stay, and many more, but those like S Voice etc. are done away. Similarly, Google Play Store and Google Play Services like apps stay, but Gmail, Google+, etc. are waved a goodbye! This also takes care of the carrier bloatware! Apps like AT&T’s Uber, or AT&T’s Home are sent packing. Not that Amazon app finds any home, even the likes of Facebook messenger gets a sending.
How to keep certain apps from deletion by debloater script?
If you want to keep certain apps, you can edit the script yourself for that. Here is how. Extract the zip file of the debloater tool into a separate folder. You will get just one folder from the zip, called META-INF. Go into it, deeper, until you find updater-script. Now, here you will find the delete_recursive command for all apps that are meant to be removed by the script by default for your Samsung Galaxy device.
So, if you want a certain app to be kept in your phone, just add a # value in the app’s line’s beginning. For example, if I want to keep Gmail app, then I will change the Gmail apps’s line like this:
Note that I am only adding # to the lines starting which pertains to Gmail app. Do this for all apps you want to retain and don’t want the script to remove. Now, save the file, and create a zip of the META-INF folder again, such that it looks like the zip file you originally downloaded.
As an alternate method, rather than extracting the zip file, you can simply open it, reach the update-script file, open it with Notepad++ file editor on PC, and then save it. The zip software will ask you to save the modified zip file, say Yes, the same zip file will have your modified updater-script, and will be ready soon.

Backup your Android. Backup important files stored on your device before proceeding with the steps below, so that in case something goes wrong you’ll have backup of all your important files.
Download the script from here.
Make sure you have TWRP recovery, or CWM recovery, installed on your device.
Reboot into recovery mode. For this:
Power off your device.
Press and hold Power + Home + Volume up until you see Samsung’s logo. You will enter recovery mode shortly.
Create a backup from TWRP/CWM recovery. Must do as in case script does something wrong, like sending your device to bootloop, you can just reboot to recovery and restore the backup to fix it.
Use the Install option, select the debloater tool’s zip file, Galaxy_Cleaner.zip, and install it.
Reboot your device to see the changes. Your device must be faster!
That’s it. Do feedback us with your thoughts on using the script, and the performance boost you experience after that.

Since the Tornado Cash affair, Circle’s USDC stablecoin’s market valuation has fallen precipitously. The market capitalization of USD Coin (USDC), which fell from $53.3 billion to just under $43.9 billion during the previous month, has decreased by almost 20%.
Almost $5 billion in USDC was withheld on a single day (26 September), resulting in a loss of nearly 9.2% of its total capitalization.
The USDC would have experienced its sharpest shrinkage ever with this. The market capitalization of the stablecoin reached its pinnacle in July at $55.8 billion.A lot has happened lately
Even MakerDAO, which had a significant portion of its reserves backed in USDC, viewed Circle’s actions as a breach of privacy rights. The project began to discuss ending its reliance on USDC, stating that given the extraordinary degree of centralization that USDC has by nature, it could at any time meet the same fate as the wallets connected to Tornado Cash.
Even though it appeared as though MakerDAO was turning against USDC, they announced on 25 October that a fresh plan to deposit USDC on Coinbase’s institutional custody platform has been approved. They will escrow up to $1.6 billion of their USDC holdings on Coinbase Prime to earn 1.5% in incentives.
On 6 September, Coinbase Institutional submitted the proposal, and on 24 October afternoon, 75% of the votes were cast in favor of it. The USDC represents one-third of the treasury that serves as the foundation for the Peg Stability Module, which enables users to deposit security in exchange for DAI, Maker’s stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar.
Therefore, even if USDC’s capitalization keeps declining, significant projects are still placing bets on its potential for future recovery.
The continuous competition between Binance and other stablecoin market leaders is an additional difficulty for USDC. The biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world hopes to dethrone USDC and overtake USDT as the second most valuable stablecoin in the market.
BUSD’s market cap as of right now is $21.62 billion. Unlike USDC, Binance’s native stablecoin has consistently increased by more than 22% since 12 August, rising from $17.64 billion to over $21.62 billion.Circle as a commercial bank?
The USDC and EUROC issuing Circle seeks to transition to full-reserve commercial banking. To grow its blockchain-based payments network, it is establishing strategic alliances.
However, it operates in a cryptocurrency sector that lacks regulatory clarity, leaving it in a difficult position. Furthermore, the path is not made any simpler by the Fed’s probe into stablecoins and research of CBDCs.
Additionally, Circle revealed that it would soon make USDC accessible on five other blockchains.
Nikhil Chandhok, the company’s chief product officer, informed a live audience at Circle’s Converge22 conference today (26 October) that USDC will be interoperable with Arbitrum, Cosmos, NEAR, Optimism, and Polkadot by the beginning of next year.Other challenges in front of USDC
It is important to note that WazirX and Binance delisted USDC last month. The announcement caused Circle’s coin to lose 6% of its value.
Even though the project’s future is not now looking so bright, it will probably be able to hold onto its spot among the top five cryptocurrencies.
However, they need to win back the confidence of some significant crypto projects and exchanges, and the compliance card may draw additional players into its side.
How many bosses are in Elden Ring?
The number may surprise you… or scare you!
With a Metacritic rating through the roof, Elden Ring is widely regarded as the greatest game of all time. It’s also made fans just like you wonder, “How many bosses are there in the game, and how am I going to conquer them all?”
If you’re just starting on this epic journey or you’ve already embarked on it, prepare to explore a large country full of castles, dungeons, and caves, as well as trolls, monsters, and fire-breathing dragons.
Elden Ring, as you’ve already guessed, is a massive game that will take a long time to complete even if you don’t get sidetracked by all the non-main plot components.
Everything sound familiar to a very popular TV show? That’s because Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin was heavily involved in developing the story.
Please reserve any debate over whether Mr Martin should have been focusing on writing the Game of Thrones book finale for elsewhere, as it’s hard to complain once you’ve booted up Elden Ring!
Anyway, onto the bosses!
Elden Ring Bosses guide
Pre-launch, it was rumored that Elden Ring included more than 50 bosses. However, the exact number is unknown as the game is so gigantic that no one had been able to discover them all yet.
Now it’s been released, some claim that Elden Ring has 83 bosses in all. This figure comprises all of the game’s main bosses, mini-bosses, and field bosses.
So, as you navigate through this universe, you will come across a plethora of bosses. Some are small field bosses who live in dungeons or travel freely, while others, like Godrick the Grafted, are more powerful. Those are formidable foes concealed beneath the walls of legacy dungeons.
In total, 74 of these are one-of-a-kind bosses. This means you’ll have to deal with at least 9 types of bosses multiple times. Best to take notes the first time around!
Remember… in Elden Ring, no matter where you go in this dark fantasy land, a boss encounter is always just around the corner.
How many bosses do you need to beat to finish Elden Ring?
Margit – the Fell Omen boss
All of the Elden Ring main bosses necessary to complete the story campaign are a massively difficult journey in themselves. They’re a horde of irritated demigods that are quite averse to your constant exploring.
Alas, there are many more bosses than these! Optional foes are scattered around Elden Ring’s landscape.
But, if you’re only interested in the main story campaign, we can quickly show you what’s you’re in store for.
Here are all of the Elden Ring primary bosses you’ll need to defeat in order to complete the main narrative:
Margit, the Fell Omen
Godrick the Grafted
Red Wolf of Radagon
Renalla, Queen of the Full Moon
Godfrey, First Elden Lord
Morgott, the Omen King
Maliketh, The Black Blade
Godfrey, First Elden Lord (yup, once again!)
Hoarah Loux, Warrior
Radagon of the Golden Order
There’s some debate on in this 12 number, as you’ll also notice that Godfrey appears twice, and some of these bosses are essentially all one fight since completing one propels you into another. And, while the Red Wolf and Margit aren’t as necessary, they are impeding your progress toward achieving them, so you must go through them.
So, I only need to beat 12 bosses and I’ve finished Elden Ring?
Why? Although theoretically you just have to battle the bosses mentioned above, we can almost guarantee that you won’t be able to win the game if you only face them.
Other bosses aren’t required, but they do grant Runes, weapons, and new powers that will bring make the unavoidable boss fights a WHOLE lot easier.
Remember: One of the most important things you can do before confronting most of these bosses is to enhance your armor and equipment!
Every boss in Elden Ring? (Obsessive, much?!)
All Bosses in Limgrave
All Bosses in Liurnia of the Lakes
The Spirit-Caller Snail
All Bosses in Caelid
All Bosses in Altus Plateau

One way to troubleshoot an unstable internet is by analyzing your network traffic. You can check what devices are connected to the router, and see if there is any an unauthorized user. Maybe they are someone you gave Wi-Fi access in the past but would like to kick them off now.
Changing the Wi-Fi passcode or resetting the router is all that’s needed to remove devices from the Wi-Fi and make them re-authenticate. However, if these methods don’t appeal to you, we’ve also listed various other ways to accomplish the same goal in this article.
After removing the unwanted device, we also recommend taking additional steps to secure the Wi-Fi, such as disabling vulnerabilities like WPS or setting up guest networks. However, for this article, let’s focus on different ways to restrict network access.
All network interface controllers (NICs) are assigned a unique hardware ID or physical ID known as the MAC Address. This means everything from your router, PC, and phone has a unique MAC Address. MAC Filtering refers to the process of using these unique identifiers to blacklist or whitelist certain devices from a network.
It can be bypassed through methods like MAC Spoofing, so it’s not completely secure, but it’s still a good enough security measure in most general cases. Things like IP-MAC Binding help in this regard as well.
Finally, when using MAC Filtering, the first method is to set it up so that certain devices are blacklisted and can’t access the network. Or alternatively, you can allow only specified devices to access the network through whitelisting. With all that in mind, here’s how you can set up MAC Filtering on your router:
MAC Filtering typically prevents a wireless device from connecting to the network. In some routers, Access Control does the same for wired and wireless devices. However, on others, Access Control allows the device to connect to the network but specifically restricts internet access.
This may not explicitly remove a device from the Wi-Fi, but it more or less serves the same purpose in most cases. The process of using it is very similar to that of MAC Filtering. Here are the necessary steps::
Parental Controls isn’t supported on all routers, but on those that do, it offers a number of useful functionalities. This includes checking a device’s internet history, blocking specific content, restricting internet access, setting time limits, etc. Here’s how you can use this feature:
Quality of Service (QoS) allows you to prioritize which services or devices receive how much bandwidth. This method doesn’t actually remove the device from the Wi-Fi either, but you can use it to limit the bandwidth and restrict internet access, which is ultimately what most users want. With that said, here are the steps to set up QoS:
Older mobiles and computers, as well as most smart home devices and electronic appliances, can only connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. While this is a bit niche, disabling the 2.4 GHz band can remove unwanted devices from the Wi-Fi in such cases. Here’s how you can do this:
Certain router vendors and ISPs have mobile apps that allow you to manage internet access. If this is applicable in your case, removing certain devices from the Wi-Fi should be pretty simple:
While we’re on this topic, we should also mention that third-party Wi-Fi Jamming tools capable of restricting internet access on certain devices do exist. They identify the device through their MAC Address and repeatedly send dissociate packets to do this. However, we recommend exercising caution if you plan to use such tools, as they’re generally not reliable.
When you change your Wi-Fi password, all devices are required to reauthenticate using the new password. Because of this, any unauthorized devices should no longer be able to connect to your Wi-Fi unless you give out the new password. Here’s how you can change your Wi-Fi password:
Resetting a router wipes all the customized settings and restores the router to factory defaults. This includes your Wi-Fi settings as well. After resetting the router, it’s essential to reconfigure the router and Wi-Fi so that they’re secure. Here’s how you can do this:
