Whether you’re playing from a disc or you downloaded a digital version of the game, there’s always a chance that Ark Survival Evolved won’t load on Xbox One.

When this happens, it is likely that there’s a problem with the operating system on your console, or a problem with the most recent update installation.

Before you try the other solutions listed below, try to restart the game or your console, update the console, and test/troubleshoot your network connection.

FIX: Ark Survival Evolved not loading on Xbox One Solution 1: Remove and re-add your profile

If the issue relates to one profile on your console, the profile data may be corrupted. Follow the steps below:

Once the account has been removed from your console, download your profile again to create a fresh version of the account data:

Open the guide on your console

Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new.

Type in the email address and password that you use to access your Microsoft account (the same account that you just removed).

Ensure don’t select Get a new account unless it is necessary as this creates a brand-new Microsoft account.

Follow the console prompts until you are returned to the Home

Once you have completed the process of re-creating your profile on the Xbox One console and have returned to the Home screen, try playing your game again.

Solution 2: Clear the local save and re-sync with the cloud

It’s possible that the local save for your game has become corrupted. If so, deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud may correct the problem.

Delete the local save by doing the following:

Open the guide on your console

Select My games & apps

Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.

Select Manage game.

Scroll to the right, highlight the saved data for your gamertag under Saved Data, and then press A on your controller.

Select Delete from console to remove the local save of this game.

After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox One console, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you’re connected to Xbox Live.  Try playing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud fixes it.

Solution 3: Verify that the game was purchased by this account

If you want to play a downloaded game on your console, the account that purchased the game should be the same one you’re using to sign in to Xbox Live. To verify the account that was used to purchase the game, check your Xbox Live purchase history.

Sign in to your Microsoft account. Follow the instructions that are provided. Your last five transactions will be displayed under Order history.

Many games will not work without a license, so if you don’t have a license for this game, or if the account that purchased this game is not loaded on your Xbox One console, then it will fail to start.

Solution 4: Reset your console’s operating system

There may be a problem with your console’s operating system that is preventing the game from playing properly. You can reset your console’s OS without deleting your games or apps.

Open the guide on your console

Select Settings

Select All Settings

Select System

Select Console info & updates

Select Reset console

On the Reset your console screen, select Reset and keep my games & apps. This will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

If the console reset is successful, you may be prompted to repeat some general console set-up steps before you are returned to the Home screen, then try playing your game again.

Solution 5: Uninstall the title, reboot the console, and reinstall

It’s possible that the installed game data is corrupted, so you need to uninstall and then reinstall the game to correct it.

From the Home screen, select My games & apps.

Highlight the game title that you want to uninstall.

Press the Menu button  on your controller.

Select Manage game.

Highlight the game title and press the Menu button again.

Select Uninstall.

Once the game is uninstalled, restart your Xbox One console, and reinstall the game

Return to the My games & apps

Select the game title from Ready to install

Select Install (check the progress bar for the status)

Solution 6: Check for a game-specific ban

Game developers can build game-specific security into their titles and enforce their community policies to help ensure fair and respectful gameplay – and there’s no appeals process.

If you are still experiencing gameplay issues, confirm that you have not been banned from the game. The method by which you are notified of a game ban varies by developer and may include an in-game message, connection error, or blocked access to certain game features.

Solution 7: Restore the console to factory defaults

If your console is up to date and you keep experiencing the gameplay issue, you may need to reset your console to the factory defaults.

Warning: This erases all accounts, apps, games, saved games, and settings, and anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. Your console syncs with Xbox Live automatically when it’s connected to the service.

From the Home screen, Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All settings.

Select System.

Select Console info & updates.

Select Restore factory defaults (Remove and reset everything)

Read the warning message, and then select Yes.

Once the reset is complete, do the initial console setup process, and you may be prompted to run a system update. Once all of this is done, you should be able to access the Home screen.

Solution 8: Reinstall the game and try again

After restoring your console to factory defaults, try installing the game again to see if this fixes the gameplay issue. If you’re installing from a disc, insert the game disc in the console and install the game.

If you’re installing from Microsoft Store, do the following:

Sign in using the account that originally purchased and downloaded the game.

Open My games & apps.

Select the game title from Ready to install.

Select Install.

Once the game is installed, try playing the game to see if the gameplay starts.

Fix: Warzone Not Loading On Xbox, Ps5, Or Ps4

Warzone, as a massive free-to-play multiplayer, has widespread issues. But worry not. We’re here to fix Warzone not loading on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. 

You can check the PC troubleshooter if you’re playing Activision’s Battle Royale on Windows 10 or 11. Console players, though, take a position. 

See, your problems with Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4, or PS5 are different. Rather than drivers and anti-virus, you’re dealing with corrupted databases, outdated games or systems, and other random bugs.

Warzone Not Loading Xbox, PS5, Or PS4 Causes

The Game Files Are Corrupted: Warzone’s game files may be corrupted. It’s more common than you think, given how many times it needs to update and download additional files.

These are easy to fix problems, provided that your console works properly and normally. Instead, you can play all of your games, browse, and use your console as always.

However, CoD: Warzone gets stuck in the loading screen. Alternatively, as you open the game, you may see other errors, such as ” Dev Error 6034” and other error codes.

How to Fix Warzone Not Loading Xbox, PS5, or PS4?

We’re going to solve the different error causes on each console. Some solutions are the same regardless of your device. Others are particular for the Xbox or the PlayStation.

Regardless, it’s difficult to pinpoint the root of the error. Therefore, you should try the fixes, one by one, until you find the one that works.

Update the Console

You should start troubleshooting by updating the console manually. The process should happen automatically, but it may fail after an update interruption or if your internet is weak.

The Xbox is the easiest to update, as it’s the same process for the Xbox One and the Xbox Series:

Press the Xbox button on your controller.

Go to Profile & system.

Select Settings.

Select System.

Select Updates.

If there’s an update ready, select Console update available, and let the process finish.

On PS4

Go to Settings. 

Select System Software Update.

If there’s an available update, select it. 

On PS5

Go to Settings.

Select System.

Select System Software.

Select System Software Update and Settings.

Select Update System Software.

Enable Install Update Files Automatically and Download Update Files Automatically. 

Power Cycle the Console

The next step is to power cycle the console. It helps clear the cache and delete random power bugs and other glitches.

The process is the same on either console:

Turn off the console by holding and pressing the power button.

Unplug all of its cables for 5 minutes, at least.

Plug back the cables.

Turn the console back on.

Before opening Warzone again, please try the next step. 

Remove Multiplayer Game Packs on Xbox

Warzone, Modern Warfare, and other CoD games store outdated files on the Xbox. You should try removing these files before opening the game again.

The alternative step on PlayStation would be to delete the corrupted files. We’re going to review that on the next fix.

For now, consider this solution works, mostly for “Dev Error” codes when Warzone can’t load on Xbox. More specifically, you can do it if you’ve also got CoD: Modern Warfare on your Xbox. 

Select Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on your Xbox One or Xbox Series.

Press the menu button on your controller.

Select Manage game & add-ons.

Select Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. 

Scroll down and de-select Multiplayer Pack 3 and MP2 Pack. 

Save the changes.

Additionally, if you don’t have CoD: Modern Warfare, do these steps:

Press the controller’s Xbox button.

Go to My games & apps.

Select See all.

Select Manage.

Select Free up Space.

Go to Leftover add-ons or Shrinkable games.

Select Uninstall All.

Lastly, you should uninstall the Warzone add-ons you’re not using anymore or those that are outdated: 

Select Call of Duty: Warzone on your Xbox One or Xbox Series.

Press the menu button on your controller.

Select Manage game & add-ons.

Select Call of Duty: Warzone. 

De-select the add-ons you’re not using anymore. 

Save the changes.

Afterward, you can restart the Xbox and try playing Warzone again. 

Delete the Corrupted Data From the PS4 Manually

After power cycling a PS4, you should try deleting corrupted files. The console stores these items in separate folders; you must delete them manually.

If you own the newer console, there’s a similar process on the PS5. If that’s the case, you can skip to the next step.

For now, here’s how to delete corrupted files on PS4: 

Go to Settings.

Select System Storage Management.

Select Saved Data.

Select Media Player.

Delete everything that says “Corrupted Data.”

The corrupted data may include key game files. This could be the reason why Warzone can’t open. If the system deleted a key file, the PS4 would ask you to re-download or re-install portions of the game or its entirety. 

Delete the Corrupted Data From the PS5 Manually

The process to delete these files is like so:

Go to Settings.

Select Storage.

Select Console Storage on the left.

Games and Apps.

Check if there’re corrupted files, and delete them.

You’d need to do further browsing on the menu:

By this point, you should try opening Warzone again.

Delete the Corrupted Download in PS4 Restore the Licenses on PS4

The PS4 licenses store the digital rights to play a game. They live within your PlayStation Network account. However, sometimes your PSN account goes out of sync, or the internet is too slow to deliver information to the console.

In any case, here’s what you need to do: 

Go to Settings.

Select Account Management.

Select Activate Primary PS4.

Verify the option is engaged.

Go back to Account management.

Select Restore license.

Confirm the process.

Afterward, restart the console and try again. 

Activate Home Xbox

The Xbox has a similar system. In essence, the game owner should also be the Xbox owner to play a game. Or alternatively, the console’s owner can play the games of any account within the console. 

To prevent account errors from crashing Warzone, you should activate your Xbox as your Home Xbox:

Press the 

Xbox button

 on your controller.

Go to Profile & system.

Select Settings.

Select General.

Select Personalization.

Select My home Xbox.

Select Make this my home Xbox.

Restore the Licenses on PS5

On the PS5, your multiplayer games may also find issues whenever the internet is too slow. As a solution, you can restore the licenses to solidify your ownership of your digital games.

Go to Settings.

Select Users and Accounts.

Select Other.

Select Restore Licenses.

Select Restore.

Rebuild Database on PS4 and PS5

Lastly, you can rebuild the PlayStation’s database to clear widespread corruption problems. The steps are similar on either console generation:

Here’re the steps to rebuild the PS4’s database through the Safe Mode troubleshooter:

Press and hold the console’s power button to shut it off.

Press and hold the button again for seven seconds. Release it after you hear a second beep.

Plug the controller to the console via the USB cable.

Press the PS button.

Select option 5: Rebuilt Database (it’s the same option on the PS4 and the PS5).

Uninstall the Game on Xbox

Sadly, sometimes, there’s no other option. If nothing else works on Xbox, you’d have to uninstall the game and then reinstall it.

The Xbox doesn’t has an alternative to PlayStation’s database rebuild option. So, if a game is corrupted, it’s very difficult to restore it to normal.

On the home screen, press the Xbox button.

Go to My Games & apps.

Highlight Warzone.

Press the controller’s menu button.

Select Uninstall.

You don’t need to worry about the save data, as Warzone is an online-only game. Then, to re-install the game, here’re the steps:  

Go back to My Games & apps

Select Full Library.

Select All Owned Games.

Highlight Warzone and select Install.

It will re-download, and you can try playing it again after it finishes.

Why isn’t Origin loading on Windows 10?

The reason behind this issue is still uncanny but for the most part, we can blame corrupted files, caches, and Origin Client for this precarious behavior. So, if you are facing this error, you should resolve these corrupted files to fix the error (will be discussed hereinafter).

Origin not loading on Windows PC

These are the things you need to do to fix Origin not loading issue on Windows 10.

Clear Origin Cache

Recreate Windows 10 Host file

Run Origin in Compatibility mode and as an administrator

Reinstall Origin

Let us talk about them in detail.

1] Clear Origin Cache

Start your troubleshooting journey by clearing the Origin cache from the location of the Origin stored on your computer. It is pretty easy, you just need to follow the given steps and you will be good to go.

Open File Explorer by Win + E.

Go to the location where you have installed Origin, in most cases, it is “C:UsersUserAppDataRoaming”.

Now, reboot your system, restart the Origin Client application on it and check if the issue persists.

2] Recreate Windows 10 Host file

The Host file in your computer is responsible to redirect websites to their corresponding IP address. If it gets corrupted, Origin won’t work. So, if you are facing issues while opening Origin, try resetting the Host file.

But first, we have to rename the existing Host file. For that, launch File Explorer and navigate to the following location.

C:WindowsSystem32driversetc

To create a new Host file, launch Notepad and paste the following code.

Name the file “host” and save it to the following location.

C:WindowsSystem32driversetc

Finally, restart your computer and check if the issue persists.

3] Run Origin in compatibility mode and as an administrator

Maybe the problem is because of the fact that you are not running Origin in compatibility mode and as an administrator. So, with the help of the following steps, run Origin in compatibility mode and as an administrator.

Go to the Compatibility tab and tick “Run this program in compatibility mode”

Also select “Run this program as an administrator”.

Now, retry launching Origin on your computer, hopefully, you will succeed.

4] Reinstall Origin

If nothing works, you can uninstall Origin and reinstall its latest version as the error can be because of a corrupted installation package.

How To Update Xbox One Offline

Software updates generally come via automatic online updates. But if you don’t have a good internet connection, sometimes the console forces you to use offline methods.

The Xbox Offline System Update (OSU) allows you to get the console up to date with a flash drive.

Here’s what you need:

A USB flash drive with 6GB of space, as well as NTFS format

A Windows PC with an internet connection and USB ports

The process is the same for the Xbox One S, the Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S.

However, the original Xbox One console may need an extra update, depending on its operating system. There’s a detailed guide below.

Format the USB Drive

The first step is formatting your USB flash drive. Here’s how:

Plug your USB flash drive into your Windows PC

Open the File Explorer

Go to This PC

Leave everything else as-is, but rename the drive if you want

Download the Update File

Plug the USB drive on your Windows PC

Copy the “$SystemUpdate” on the .zip file to the flash drive

Unplug the drive from your PC

Update the Xbox Offline

Now, it’s time for the update. It works through the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter:

Turn off your console

Unplug the power cord for one minute to power cycle the Xbox

Plug back the cable

Hold the two buttons for 10-15 seconds until you hear the second power-up tone. Release the buttons when you listen to it

The console will boot into the Startup Troubleshooter

Plug the USB drive on the Xbox

Select Offline system update

The process will take several minutes. The console may restart various times to finish the update.

Also, you will need to connect to the internet during the setup process. Simply follow the instructions until you’re back on your Xbox’s home screen. 

However, if it doesn’t work, you may:

Turn off the Xbox

Unplug all of its cables for 5 minutes

Plug back all of its cables

Try the update again, or choose to Reset this console

How to Update the Original Xbox One Offline

As the oldest console, the Xbox One original may require you to do some extra steps.

But you can quickly verify if you need these steps or not. See, older system versions don’t have the Xbox Startup troubleshooter. So, if your Xbox has one, you can update it with the steps you saw above.

Otherwise, you will have to install two or three offline updates in a row.

Check if the Xbox One Has the Troubleshooter

Here’s how to check if your older Xbox has the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter:

Turn off the console

Unplug the network and power cable

Wait one minute

Plug the power card back

Press and hold the Pair and the Eject button simultaneously for 10-15 seconds

Press the Xbox power button after you hear the first beep, but keep holding the other buttons

After you hear the second beep, release the buttons.

When the console powers up, it will take you to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. If it could reach there, you can perform the Xbox offline update with the same steps as above.

Otherwise, continue with the following steps. 

Check the OS Version

There’re three offline Xbox system updates (OSU1, OSU2, and OSU3). To find out the ones you need, you must check the OS version on your console: 

Turn on the console

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide

Go to Profile & system

Go to Settings

Go to System

Go to Console info

Check your OS version and compare it with our lists below

The build above is the older version, and it needs an OSU3 update. All other system versions (the ones you don’t see on these lists) need OSU2. 

Update Each Version Separately

You must update each version separately, one after the other. It works like so:

If you update with OSU3, you then need to update with OSU2, and finally OSU1

If you update with OSU2, you then need to update to OSU1

Each update needs a separate process, as I explained above. For example, if you need the OSU3 update, here’s what you’d do:

Download OSU3

Unzip and copy its file on your empty and NTFS flash drive

Initiate the Troubleshooter

Plug the drive on the Xbox

Select Offline system update

Let the process finish

Then, turn off the Xbox, and go on with the follow-up update.

Download OSU2

Plug the drive on your Windows PC and delete everything within

Unzip OSU2 and copy its file on your empty and NTFS flash drive

Initiate the Troubleshooter

Plug the drive on the Xbox

Select Offline system update

Let the process finish

Then, finish up with OSU1:

Download OSU1

Plug the drive on your Windows PC and delete its contents

Unzip OSU1 and copy its file on the drive

Initiate the Xbox troubleshooter

Plug the drive on the console

Select Offline system update

Let the process finish

How To Fix Apex Legends Stuck On Infinite Loading Screen

The Apex Legends infinite-loading screen bug isn’t one most player experience on a regular basis, but it isn’t the least common issue either. When it happens, you can’t get past the initial loading screen on the game; therefore, you can’t actually play or access your content. Like many issues with modern games, the cause won’t be immediately obvious. You’ll have to try a few different solutions to find a cure.

What Causes Infinite Apex Loading Screens?

A few common causes might be the cause of the Apex loading screen problems. Start with these issues that have fixed the screens for other players so you can get back to your path to Apex championship.

Connection Issues: There could be a problem with your internet, game platform, or Apex itself. When the connection between each of them isn’t working correctly, it will stop Apex from working and could result in unending loading screens. For example, once Steam’s authentication service for Apex went down, Steam players could not connect. Instead, they logged on and were met with infinite loading screens.

Corrupted Files: The game files themselves could be damaged or even missing. You can try to repair or reinstall the game to fix this issue.

Outdated System Software: Your game or platform may need an update. Sometimes updates include bug fixes to address issues that cause problems like an infinite loading screen.

Other problems can also be responsible for infinite Apex loading screens. Make sure you check all the potential fixes before you attempt to reinstall, especially because it might not solve the problem if one of the issues outside the game is causing it.

How to Fix Apex Loading Screens

To fix Apex infinite loading screens, check for the simplest reasons the problem could be happening before moving on to the more involved and rare causes. Once you find the right one, you can start playing and stop troubleshooting. 

Check Server Status

Check Apex and your platform’s server status to see whether they’re experiencing issues. Everyone should check Apex itself, but you only need to check Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox if you connect to Apex through those services.

Restart Everything

If the servers are functioning properly, try restarting your game and your computer or console to see whether it makes Apex pass the loading screen the next time you turn it on. Since it’s stuck in a loading screen, you won’t be able to shut it down like usual.

You should also look for any updates for Windows or your console software.

Once the game restarts, if the infinite loading screen is still happening, you’ll have to continue to try other troubleshooting options. 

Restart Your Internet

Restarting your internet and flushing your DNS will help ensure there’s nothing wrong with your connection creating the unending loading screens on Apex.

If that doesn’t work, try a few other solutions. 

Unplug Unnecessary Devices

Some Apex players found that USB devices plugged into the computer were the cause of their problems. Once the right device was unplugged, Apex would start and get past the unending load screen like normal.

Try removing USB devices one at a time and loading Apex to see whether it works. 

There might be a problem with your game files if it’s still happening after you’ve attempted the rest of these fixes.

Repair the Game Files

You can repair the game files without deleting and reinstalling the entire thing. The option looks for damaged or missing files and replaces them, so the installation is good again.

On Steam

You need to be connected to the internet during this process in case Steam needs to download clean copies of the files you’re missing.

On EA App

If your game was missing files or corrupted, this might fix it and let you play again. If not, continue to the next suggestion.

Clear Save Data on Xbox

One suggestion that Microsoft recommends for Xbox users is to clear the data saved on their Xbox. It shouldn’t remove the data stored on the cloud, which you can re-download after you’re done.

Once you reopen Apex while you’re connected to the internet, the saved data in the cloud should download. 

Reinstall the Game
